Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort Room Descriptions

Standard

Standard rooms are housed in the Ocean Tower but offer limited views and face either the side of the property or the neighboring buildings. Only some of the standard rooms feature a balcony (lanai). Due to their location and views, they are described as quieter rooms, ideal primarily as a place to sleep rather than to enjoy scenic views of Waikiki. Create memories with the entire ohana (family) and stay in this quiet room on the side of the hotel.

Room Details: Sleeps up to 3, 450 ft, 1 King or 2 Queens or 3 Double Beds

Resort View

Resort View rooms face inland, offering views of the city, surrounding areas, and tropical mountain scenery, located on various floors in both towers, with higher floors generally providing broader vistas, distinct from ocean-facing rooms. These rooms provide a tranquil alternative to the beach, overlooking the resort's gardens or the broader Honolulu landscape, ideal for guests wanting a calm Hawaiian backdrop. A tranquil Hawaii haven with striking views of ancient green mountains.

Room Details: Sleeps up to 4, 350 ft, 1 King or 2 Queen Beds

Partial Ocean View

Partial Ocean View rooms offer views of the Pacific Ocean and the Waikiki skyline from their private lanais, typically from higher floors but not directly oceanfront, providing an "idyllic view" balancing ocean glimpses with city scenery. While specific floor numbers vary and rooms face different directions, they're positioned to give a sense of the ocean and sunsets, unlike resort view rooms (city/mountain) or full oceanfront rooms (direct waves). Launch your well-deserved vacation in the tranquility of a private retreat.

Room Details: Sleeps up to 4, 355 ft, 1 King or 2 Queen Beds

Pacific Tower Ocean View

Pacific Tower Ocean View rooms are located at the hotel's main entrance side, offering partial ocean views over the pool area towards Diamond Head, generally on mid-to-upper floors, and are set back from the beachfront, unlike the closer Ocean Tower rooms. A spacious hideaway furnished with warm pā ʻana a ka lā (sunlight).

Room Details: Sleeps up to 4, 340 ft, 1 King or 2 Queen Beds

Ocean Tower Ocean View

The Ocean Tower Ocean View rooms are situated in the Ocean Tower, located closer to the beach and offering sweeping views of the ocean and Diamond Head, often from higher floors, providing direct access to the serene lagoon side of Waikiki. A serene, ocean view haven with a grand view of moana kai'lua - the clear blue sea.

Room Details: Sleeps up to 4, 340 ft, 1 King or 2 Queen Beds

Oceanfront

Oceanfront rooms are primarily located in the Ocean Tower, offering direct views and access to the beach, with specific categories like "Club Oceanfront" providing premium views of the ocean and shoreline from the tower's best vantage points. These rooms are in the building closest to the beach, distinguishing them from rooms in the Pacific Tower, which might have city or partial ocean views. An exquisite oceanfront room with waves of aloha with luxurious amenities. Located in the Ocean Tower.

Room Details: Sleeps up to 4, 405 ft, 1 King or 2 Queen Beds
