Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort Room Descriptions
Select each room category below to review its location, view, sleeping capacity, approximate size, and available bed configurations.
Standard Room
Standard rooms are housed in the Ocean Tower but offer limited views and face either the side of the property or neighboring buildings. Only some Standard rooms feature a balcony or lanai.
Due to their location and views, they are described as quieter rooms, ideal primarily as a place to sleep rather than to enjoy scenic views of Waikiki.
Create memories with the entire ohana—family—and stay in this quiet room on the side of the hotel.
Resort View
Resort View rooms face inland, offering views of the city, surrounding areas, and tropical mountain scenery. They are located on various floors in both towers, with higher floors generally providing broader vistas.
These rooms provide a tranquil alternative to the beach, overlooking the resort gardens or the broader Honolulu landscape. They are ideal for guests seeking a calm Hawaiian backdrop.
A tranquil Hawaii haven with striking views of ancient green mountains.
Partial Ocean View
Partial Ocean View rooms offer views of the Pacific Ocean and the Waikiki skyline from their private lanais. They are typically located on higher floors but are not directly oceanfront.
While specific floors and room directions vary, these rooms are positioned to provide a balance of ocean glimpses, city scenery, and possible sunset views.
Launch your well-deserved vacation in the tranquility of a private retreat.
Pacific Tower Ocean View
Pacific Tower Ocean View rooms are located on the hotel’s main entrance side. They offer partial ocean views over the pool area toward Diamond Head, generally from mid-to-upper floors.
These rooms are set farther back from the beachfront than the rooms located in the Ocean Tower.
A spacious hideaway furnished with warm pā ʻana a ka lā—sunlight.
Ocean Tower Ocean View
Ocean Tower Ocean View rooms are located closer to the beach and offer sweeping views of the ocean and Diamond Head, often from higher floors.
Their Ocean Tower location provides convenient access to the serene lagoon side of Waikiki.
A serene ocean-view haven with a grand view of moana kaiʻlua—the clear blue sea.
Oceanfront
Oceanfront rooms are primarily located in the Ocean Tower, the building closest to the beach. They offer direct views of the ocean and shoreline.
Specific categories, including Club Oceanfront, may provide premium views from some of the hotel’s best ocean-facing vantage points.
